I've been working as a live entertainment artist since 2000 when I was hired by Kaman’s Art Shoppes to draw Portraits at Six Flags Darien Lake, NY, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA, and Knott’s Berry Farm, CA. As I grew my career with Kaman’s there was a natural expansion into the other art forms they offered. I learned how to draw Caricatures, apply Henna Tattoo’s, create Air Brush Apparel, and Face Paint. I was able to help train new artists in these mediums as an Art Supervisor and Assistant Manager at Six Flags.

In 2014, the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation completed the reconstruction and redevelopment of Buffalo’s Waterfront and Canalside. A long time colleague of mine, William Gallagher, was able to open Canalside Carictures on the new boardwalk. I am pictured above working at this location after drawing a group of friends.

There have been many opportunities to leave this occupation as time has passed. I stay because I love living in happy moments with customers. When they decide to get their artwork done, they are making a decision to step away from their everyday lives and do something special and memorable. I am honored to be a part of the experience.

I currently travel across Western New York to draw at all types of events including weddings, corporate events, college events, birthday parties, retirement parties, any gathering really, and create artwork from home in my studio.
