Henna Tattoo at Niagara University

Henna TaTToos

This beautiful body decorating art form is similar in appearance to a tattoo, although the color of henna is brown, and they are temporary. They are made from a paste of dried and ground henna leaves mixed with water and essential oil. The paste is applied to the body and is then left to dry as it stains the skin. The drying process takes about 45 minutes, although you can leave your henna paste on longer. Once it is fully dry, the paste will begin to fall off revealing an orange color. The tattoo will darken to brown over the next 24 hours.

What you can expect at your party is 15 to 20 small tattoos per hour. The above picture is an example of a small tattoo. These are designed to take 2 to 4 minutes. This type of tattoo is best for large events so that I can see as many guests as possible.

Henna Tattoos can be extremely intricate, and I am happy to oblige! If you have something special in mind please submit a contact form and we can discuss the details.
